Hayes Grade Center is proud to serve approximately 400 first and second grade students in a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment. We are dedicated to helping every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally while building a strong foundation for future success.
Teachers work collaboratively through Professional Learning Communities to analyze student learning, share effective teaching practices, and provide targeted instruction that meets the needs of every learner. Intervention services are provided for students who need additional instructional support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed. Students engage in meaningful STEM learning opportunities that promote hands-on exploration, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
